Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Submissions are reviewed by a panel of students and professionals from Stanford and the Ivy League. Projects are judged on three things: the value they create, the creativity behind the idea, and the quality of execution. You don't need to be a programmer. You don't need a polished product. You need to have built something real that solves a real problem. Winners are announced at the end of the week following submission review.
